Building the Grupo Solverde Website
What I learned while working on my largest project to date: a complex web platform for Grupo Solverde.

The Grupo Solverde website is the largest project I have worked on so far. It serves a Portuguese hospitality and casino group, so the platform needs to support far more than static pages.
My main contribution was rewriting the backend and helping deliver functionality such as a shopping cart, online payments, receipts, and content management. The project required thinking about customer-facing experiences and operational workflows at the same time.
It was also my first major Next.js project. Working across frontend, backend, data, integrations, and CMS editing showed me how quickly complexity grows when software supports real business processes.
The biggest lesson was that reliable development is not only about choosing a modern stack. It is about understanding how people use the system, keeping data flows predictable, and making the product maintainable for everyone who works with it after launch.
I am proud of the result because it represents a step forward in both my technical skills and my ability to take ownership of a complex product.
